Grossman helped organize alumni opposition to the deal, which included eliminating all DEI programs at the firm and providing $40 million in pro bono services to Trump initiatives. Numerous lawyers have since fled from the firm. “Paul, Weiss used to be the gold standard for litigation,” Bryson Malcolm, founder of legal recruiting firm Mosaic Search Partners, told Politico. “I think that reputation is waning.”
