— Elizabeth Grossman, executive director of government watchdog group Common Cause Illinois and a former Paul, Weiss associate, in comments given to Politico, concerning the fallout that’s followed the firm’s capitulation to Donald Trump. Grossman helped organize alumni opposition to the deal, which included eliminating all DEI programs at the firm and providing $40 million in pro bono services to Trump initiatives.
